Mustard and Burgundy

Good morning! Thanks for visiting, as always. This is a look I wore to work yesterday, I love the mustard and burgundy color combination and I added some fun animal prints to tie it all together.

I do have to confess I had a client meeting so I did swap the leopard coat for a very simple black one, but that is because my job requires me to visit manufacturing companies, and the dress code is usually pretty casual so I don't need to call attention to myself any more than necessary. There aren't very many ladies in most manufacturing companies, let's just leave it at that. My leopard toe shoes won't exactly substitute for steel toes either...

So that just proves no matter what industry you are in you can always have fun with your work wardrobe. Even if it is just adding a colorful belt or a printed shoe. If you keep everything else simple it won't break any rules or make you look less serious about your job. Dressing up is one of the most fun parts of being a girl - we have to deal with so much other stressful stuff like periods, pregnancy, labor, nursing - we may as well enjoy the advantages! Am I right?!
