One item I can check off of my fall shoe wish list is a pair of black patent oxfords. I know it is still summer but aren’t you already thinking about fall too?

Any time I can borrow a bit from the boys, I do. I think it is really sexy and ultimately and inevitably very feminine when menswear is worn by women. One of my favorite people in fashion right now, Jenna Lyons, of J.Crew – does this time and again and always looks impeccable.
By the way, I read this article (originally posted by Hallie from Corals and Cognacs) about Jenna Lyons that made me love her even more. Did you know growing up she had a disease that made her lose a few teeth permanently? She wasn’t the popular girl with a cult-like following that she is now, and just that makes me love her even more.
