If there is any theme for the way I’ve been dressing on the weekends lately, it would have to be extremely cozy. I’m sort of the opposite during the week, usually wearing fitted skirts or slacks, button-down shirts, and high heels to work and to social events in the evenings. This look is what I wore the day after a date night with the hubs that included a Blackhawks game and a pretty late night overall. We slept in the next day, and had a lazy Sunday including brunch at Tokio Pub and some lounging on the couch watching football.
I can’t stop wearing these Joie shoes because they are so comfortable and instantly take my outfit up a notch. A smoking slipper is a must for fall, and if you go with a pointed toe, it will make the look a little more polished. I love layering long sweaters and sweater dresses with shorter jackets and pants for a chic layered look.
