Thanks for visiting, I hope you had a nice weekend! I spent a lot of time working on a small room design project- visiting thrift stores, fabric stores, and Ikea. I could seriously get lost all day roaming aisles in any one of those stores, I love them all so much.

About the look, I bought this dress from H&M in preparation for an upcoming trip to somewhere warm, and I styled it for a cooler weather look. It has buttons all the way down the front and reminds me of an Abaya – the dresses women often wear in the Middle East. I am loving the navy and orange bold pattern, and I just like the idea of wearing it open like a jacket with a pair of harem pants and a simple black knit top. Prints and patterns were huge on the runways for Spring 2014, and this dress almost makes me feel like spring is here…almost!
