The crop top obsession continues…I love pairing a loose crop with a fitted pencil skirt- the juxtaposition is elegant and unfussy. Pretty much exactly how I want to look all the time. This top from Zara is one of my favorite pieces for Summer that I will be layering for fall. It is a leather, zip back crop top – in a dark olive green.
On another note, these days working less and spending more time with Adam have actually made me even busier than ever before, but I wouldn’t change it for anything. I really believe you can do a day’s worth of work in half the time if you cut out the water cooler chats and other time sucks out of your office work day. I now have the time to do an entire day’s worth of work, AND cook and eat dinner with the hubs, water my plants, and spend afternoons with my sweet Adam.
I feel like life before was just a series of events we were racing to attend, all the while never getting a chance to truly enjoy what we had. If more companies would just get with the program and offer flexible schedules, so many moms could improve their work life balance by a thousand percent, and probably be so much more productive as a result. Face time is overhyped – the tech sector seems to get this concept but other companies still seem to hold on to their old school ways. Hopefully it is going to be a real thing for everyone in the very near future…it is inevitable right?
