Can we all just take a moment to simply appreciate the best red carpet look of the evening at last night’s VMA’s?? Solange nailed the I-look-perfect-but-didn’t-try-at-least-not-that-hard look. She is now on the top of my style idol list, and I might even have to forgive her for her attack on my all time favorite living rapper Jay-Z (R.I.P Tupac).
I personally don’t wear a lot of black, I think being Pakistani means preferring bright colors is coded in my DNA, but I think I’m going to need to have to rethink that ideology.
I also don’t have any matching suit sets – unless you count the two suits collecting serious dust in my closet that I bought right out of college from Express – I wore them exactly twice, both times while interviewing for my first job.
If I could have one wish…I’d get myself a new matching tailored suit for some upcoming #NYFW parties. Definitely with a longer jacket, preferably of the Isabel Marant variety. But I may just pick up this one from H&M instead…
Have a great week!
I really love the look of her tailored suit, with the slim leg and the loose jacket, not overtly sexy but you still get a plunging neckline – and she paired it with a sky high stiletto, which I think is infinitely more sexy than this look…
Someone teach this girl what the word cliche means and get her a stylist, stat! Each piece individually could be great, the dress, the over-the-knee boots, and even the slicked back high pony tail, but all together it just doesn’t work. I get that the 90’s are back – but please don’t take it so literally!
I’m just on a pants craze as of late I suppose, but this outfit Chloe Grace Moretz is wearing is perfection! Note to self, need to combine something pale pink and maroon.
I absolutely LOVE Nicki Minaj with dark hair, and this dress/heel combination is so utterly chic, I am kind of obsessed with it. I love the long sleeve short dress combo. She looks the best I’ve ever seen her!
