Camera update – Found in the bottom section of Adam’s stroller! I was way more distraught about losing a year of memories than the actual camera and my favorite lenses, which were a pretty big investment for me. Needless to say, I am very relieved!
Today’s theme is black, white, and prints all over. The trick to easily mixing prints, in this case gingham and snakeskin, is to keep everything in the same color family. I personally prefer getting adventurous with your print-mixing, but if you are scared to jump in head first, this trick is for you.
This is what I wore for a curry lunch date with my parents and sisters. I don’t cook Pakistani food at home very often, so I made sure I got my fill during my trip to visit my family in California. Going to restaurants is always an interesting experience with a 3-almost-4-year-old, but a good old bribe promising a visit to the playground almost always did the trick! I have improved my negotiation skills immensely after becoming a mother – I could have used this early on in my professional career!
