Shades of Blue

Over the weekend we took a trip to my favorite Brunch spot, Egg Harbor, and while walking to the restaurant Adam saw a trail of gigantic ants so we all had to stop and appreciate them for a moment. It is amazing all of the things we fail to notice as adults – if we just change our perspective a little bit we could really enjoy our world a little more. I’m convinced that is why God invented children…

I loved the fact that the house behind the ants matched my outfit so well, so I thought, why not take a few pictures? After blogging for a few years, my mind now constantly scouts locations for photo shoots, it is just automatic! After brunch we spent the afternoon cleaning the house and then went to our neighbors for a swim. Pretty much a perfect Sunday in my opinion!

I wore what I think is the perfect outfit for anyone – no matter your size or shape. A skinny jean, tee, pointed pump, and a lightweight trench (slightly oversized is my preference). If it is too warm for long sleeves, opt for a sleeveless trench and tank top instead.
