Quite possibly the easiest way to update your look for the season is by elevating your footwear. Every summer I look to get a great new pair of flat sandals that are both really trendy and yet wearable – they have to not only look good, but also be both easy to put on and also comfortable to walk in for long periods of time. I immediately gravitated towards these lace up sandals (that I was finally able to break in this past weekend since the weather is crazy – snowing one day and nearly 70 degrees the next – but as they say around here – #Chicago…) Wearing these I can imagine myself frolicking on a beach somewhere, preferably in a tropical climate drinking something out of a coconut.
For these lace-ups, I like that you can lace them up the calf for one look, and then wrap around the ankle for a completely different style, as I’ve done here. Sometimes shoes with lace-ups go too high and you can’t wear them with jeans which is frustrating. Side note: I also bought these flatform sandals too and can’t wait to show you!
