Hey there! It feels like it has been forever since I’ve been able to sit down and type without some serious distraction. I have been wrapped up in family stuff the past few days and as a result, my routine has been upset considerably. I don’t know if it is because I’m getting older, but I really enjoy my life the way it is. I go to yoga a couple of nights a week, eat pretty healthy overall, and get in bed around 9:00 p.m. every night (I don’t sleep right away…I just get in bed- I felt the need to clarify that bit for you).
This past week though, I’ve been up late every night, eaten all of my favorite “bad” foods daily, and I haven’t worked out once. It has been a blast, but I feel tired, sluggish, and just blah overall. I am itching to work out, eat well, and feel that energy that living a healthy lifestyle brings. I realize healthy living is work in progress, and it is important to get back into it if you have fallen off of the proverbial wagon – and its so important to remember to never give up!
I bought this cape when I was pregnant, knowing I needed a jacket but not wanting to invest in something that I couldn’t wear in a few weeks. The fabric is light enough to wear in spring or fall, and in winter, it is a great top layer to your warm snuggly cashmere sweaters. I really love it and I think it is a closet staple that is really always in style. What do you think? Do you like capes?
