Casual Holiday

I hope everyone had a great long weekend. I had the perfect blend of family, friend, baby, and alone time. I also got to get caught up on Homeland which is my latest TV obsession. If anyone wants to talk Homeland – feel free to comment or message me!
About the look, this is what I wore to Thanksgiving. I wanted something festive yet casual. I love this blouse that I got from Target – with the gold polka dots, I think it is a great blouse to incorporate into the winter and holiday wardrobe. What do you think?

A little word on Movember…
My husband Tom is brave enough to rock the ‘stache this month in order to raise awareness and funds for for men’s health issues, specifically prostate and testicular cancer initiatives. If you want to support his efforts and donate to a worthy cause, please click the link below!

I snuck this picture during a post-Thanksgiving meal nap. In case you were wondering, yes, Tom and I were purple sweater twinsies that day, and no, we did not plan on it. That’s what happens when you are married for a while, you start to merge identities.

It is cool at first, then you realize you know exactly what the other is going to say before they say it – which can be funny and creepy at the same time. Some unsolicited marital advice for you all- get creative to always keep things fresh – and always pursue your own passions independent of each other.

Ahh… the joys of marriage!
