Hey there! Smile…it’s Friday!

I bought this leopard coat from Forever 21 on a whim, not thinking it was going to be anything special, but I just thought it would be fun. Don’t you ever just buy things because they will be fun?

The verdict – I love it! It is surprisingly soft and warm, and though the construction could be of better quality, I kind of knew that going in so I’m not that upset. This is how I’d wear it out and about with some flat boots and a warm cowl neck sweater. Very cozy.

Today begins the countdown to my girls weekend (plus baby) to NYC! Next Friday I will be hopping on a plane and visiting my best-friends-more-like-sisters for a whole entire weekend. This was the trip that was delayed due to Sandy, and I can’t believe a whole month went by so quickly. The older I get the more I catch myself saying how time goes by so fast, it is scary how often I repeat that phrase.

I’ve got the whole packing light thing down, especially because I’m bringing baby and he requires a carseat, stroller, diapers, bath stuff, bottles, and toys in addition to his clothes. If you thought it was hard packing before you have any kids, watch out – it is going to get wild!
