Guest Post – How To Get Beyonce’s Superbowl Look: Part 2 – Makeup

I received a lot of emails about the Beyonce post – many of you wanted to know how to achieve her flawless makeup look she had for the Superbowl. Since makeup is not my expertise, I asked Sanaz of MadeofKandee to tell me how I can get the same look. Read below for more!

Beyonce’s superbowl look is all about contouring and eyes.

You can achieve this look with the following products:

1. HD foundation

2. MAC Studio Fix Concealer

2. MAC studio fix powder – start from the outer edges of your face and only apply very lightly what’s left on your brush to the center of your face.

3. Nars Laguna bronzer under cheekbones (blend well) – you may need a darker shade than Laguna depending on your skin tone

4. Prime the eyes with MAC Paint Tube in Bare Canvas

5. Use Urban Decay’s Naked Palette -mix ‘Darkhorse’ with ‘Hustle’ on the lid up to a little above the crease and soften the edges with a light touch of ‘Naked’. Make sure to blend well. Using the same colors line the lower lash line and gently blend. Highlight the brow bone with ‘Skin’

6. Pencil your water line with any black pencil and go over it lightly with Urban decay Half Baked Liner

7.Golden liner (optional) – you can draw a thin liner on your lids to get the same effect as beyonce – Makeup Forever #9L or L’oreal : HIP Gold Charge

8. Chanel’s LeVolume De Chanel Mascara – a light layer as Beyonce’s lashes looked very natural

8. MAC C-Thru lip gloss if you have pink lips and if your lips are darker try a touch of Clarins Rouge Eclat Lipstick in Sweet Rose

Drugstore products:

1. Maybelline Fit Me foundation and concelaer
2. Rimmel powder ( matching your skin tone )
3. Rimmel Trio shadow in 650 ( No:1 in the crease area , No:2 on the brow bone and No:3 on the lid)

4. Rimmel Accelerator Mascara

There are some trees with seeds that only grow after a fire. Their seeds are completely sealed with a resin that have to be physically melted off by a great fire in order to propagate. So to do we as humans, gain wisdom only after great pain and suffering.*
A month ago (and one day) I lost my sister and best friend to cancer. I am still completely gutted and broken. But, I’m also so so grateful to have had felt the love that now brings me so much heartbreak. ❤️ I am so inspired by her - and I will forever live my life to honor her memory. Miss you sis ❤️

French. Toast. Egg. Bake. Save this recipe for a weekend or holiday brunch - it’s SO good and fool-proof! I’m not even a sweet person and I love it. The pecans are a non-negotiable IMO - I get honey bourbon vanilla pecans for this and it is just heavenly. Enjoy!

Peak Autumn beauty 🍂 These two pictures were taken only 10 days apart ~ look how much the color has changed! I love to go for a walk and admire all the gorgeous foliage - so much fun. This side of my house is officially my favorite: a mix of shrubs including hydrangea, blue spruce, beautyberry, euonymus, pine, boxwood, burning bush, viburnum, smokebush, and you can even see the Japanese maple peeking out from the backyard 🍂#fallfoliage #autumn
