This weekend we stayed in town despite making plans to go up to Wisconsin. For those of you who know me – I swear it was not because Arrested Development was released on Netflix (finally!) – although we definitely started watching the season and I am loving it so far! I also recently found the show Maron – on IFC – and I am hooked. It’s like a Curb Your Enthusiasm but a little darker and dare I say… funnier?
Besides watching t.v. I did a ton of gardening and planting. I started composting last year around the time I started this blog, I talk about my first go round with vegetable gardening in this post. Last year my puppy ate the fruits of my labor before I could enjoy any of it. I only hope a year of growing up will help keep that from happening again.
This year I’m going to see how my tomatoes, zucchini, cilantro, basil, and serrano peppers turn out better planted with homemade compost. I’ll keep you posted (no pun intended). Hehe.
