Today’s look is the third and final Fourth of July vacation outfit I will be posting, which makes me slightly sad. The rest of the time at the cabin I spent in a wearing a variety of swimsuits and cover-ups. *Sigh* good times.
I think I wanted to cover up a little and wear pants because the mosquitos were fierce and I already looked like I had chicken pox all over my body at this point. Now, the ‘chicken pox’ have turned into bruises from my relentless scratching. Oh well, it was worth it!
But I definitely don’t want it to happen again. The chicken pox was bad enough on its own, let alone having to deal with any mosquito bites on top of that. I don’t even know where they came from. It was like they just appeared from nowhere and have decided that they would like to stay near me all the time, which I don’t appreciate. If it carries on for much longer, I think I may need to get in touch with professional pest control experts
in my area who can come and get rid of them once and for all because the longer I leave it, the worse it’s going to become. Covering up with the nicest outfits in my wardrobe seems to be working for now, but I don’t know how long that will ultimately last. But I’m enjoying it for now at least.

Outfit Details: Top: J.Crew Pants: Paige Shoes: French Connection Similar style for $20! and Similar Sam Edelman style on sale for $62! Necklace: J.Crew Sunnies: Gucci Bracelets: Charming Charlie Ring: Capwell + Co Bag: Tory Burch |
I paired a light-as-air top from J.Crew with my Paige jeggings, and some gladiator sandals. I really love mixing metals, and I have silver and gold going on in this look.
On a side note, my hair is a bit frizzy here because I always air dry my hair whenever possible – which is usually only weekends or vacation. This is my way of sort of counteracting all of the heat damage I normally put my poor hair through. Life is all about balance, right?
I also refrained from using any hair products, or moisturizers for that matter, due to the mosquito issue I mentioned above. I didn’t need to give them any more reason to eat me alive!
Have a great day and thanks for visiting!
XO,
Z
