This past weekend was about as close to as perfect a weekend as I can remember. Saturday we took care of business, spring cleaning and running errands during the day, and lounging at home in the evening – cooking dinner and playing games with Adam. It was the first day we were able to leave the windows open and the fresh air was such a welcome delight. Sunday we spent the day with Tom’s family and Adam got to spend some time with his cousins, hunting Easter eggs and flying kites outside. I could’t believe how quickly he figured out how to fly a kite! Watching him with his new short haircut flying a kite made me realize just how quickly they grow up! I mean he looked like a real kid, not my little baby anymore!

About the look, I love to pair light neutral tones for a monochromatic look. I think it makes the look chic, but understated. I usually try to have one stand out item in every outfit, in this case the tote by Marc by Marc Jacobs adds a cool ‘pop’ of polka dot.
