In honor of Kimye’s wedding, I decided to wear my Kim K. inspired outfit, both the top and skirt are from Zara. This is only the second crop top I’ve ever dared to wear and I think I just might be getting on this trend bandwagon, but I’m planning on keeping it very classy. I definitely got a double-take from my husband when he saw this outfit, which is always a good thing! I usually don’t wear tight fitting clothes but every once in a while I’m in the mood to look a little more fabulous, I go with a feminine and classic style like a pencil skirt. Also just a note: I bought the top a size up so that it was a bit longer and would not show as much skin.
I actually really love this material, and I will be wearing the skirt with a blouse for work and maybe a tank top for weekend. The top I’d stick with pairing high waisted skirts or pants – I am thinking a wide leg/high-waisted combo would look great.
What do you think? Are you a fan of crop-tops?
