Hope you had a great mother’s day! I got a spa day at my favorite place, and one dandelion Adam plucked from the yard. I think the boys did pretty good!
Lately I have been on a mission trying to redo my master bedroom for Spring and it has completely taken over my life. My new palette is a navy, taupe, white, black, and gold – and I am looking for the finishing touches to pull it all together. The hard part is keeping it looking modern/eclectic and not too girly/romantic. While I tend to like pretty and even ‘cutesy’ rooms (read: chevron) for other people – I like my own master to feel a little bit masculine or gender neutral.
On to the look, one of my favorite classic looks is a navy blazer with jeans and a t-shirt. If I am running around a lot I’d wear these with slides or loafers instead of heels. I’m one of those people who loved being in school – if I had my way I’d be a professional student – and this outfit reminds me of a prep school uniform with a twist.
