Fancy Pants

Today was a long and busy day so I am going to keep this post short and sweet. This is one of my favorite looks I wore in New York during Fashion Week that I did not get a chance to photograph the whole outfit, so I took a picture of t it at home in my backyard via the auto timer function on my DSLR. One of my trees was in full bloom and I thought it was a perfect place to pose!

I bought this entire outfit (minus the bag and shoes) from The Outnet, not thinking at all to put them together. The top was going to go with an entirely different outfit. But when everything arrived in one box, I saw and loved the color combo. It was extremely hot the day I wore this, so the scarf remained twirling in my hands for a good portion of the day. I kind of liked the distraction…

I also love wearing a scarf to add color or interest to an outfit. It seems like a no brainer but I don’t seem to do it enough!
