Puffer

Thanksgiving week was a lot of fun, but as usual it flew by way too fast! I had plans to reorganize my house after getting seriously inspired by this book, but unfortunately that didn’t happen. It may have been because I spent two weeks prior preparing for holiday gift idea segments for Woodfield Mall, and we hosted Thanksgiving at our home, and after that early Friday morning I woke up at 2 am, and headed straight to the mall to present the segments to NBC, WGN, and Fox News. Its amazing how much hard work goes into one 2 minute news segment, much less five! I will post links to the videos as soon as I get them.

After all of that chaos, I was so relieved when I remembered Adam was going to be watching The Nutcracker with his Nana and Pappy and his cousins, so Tom and I took advantage of our free time and headed to one of our favorite restaurants, Coopers Hawk, and just ordered a ton of appetizers and had a long relaxing lunch, which is definitely a rarity for us.

I wore a causal outfit but added some fun touches like my necklace by Jewels and Things, and this cute puffer vest by J.Crew. The vest is really warm and on sale right now!
