NYFW Day #2 - Updated Classics

After the bare-legged debacle of Fashion Week day #1, I smartened up and went for a classic, albeit not very “street style photog” worthy look. Even though these were all basic pieces I had in my closet for some time, I feel that every piece is worthy of fashion week in itself. For example, this top by J.Crew has a longer length, making it so much cooler than your every day button-down. Also, perhaps my best investment to-date, these leather pants by All Saints, fit like a glove and have that super-luxe buttery leather feel that no pleather pant can beat. I layered some heather grey in to this color palette with the scarf and coat, worn editor style, of course. A black bootie is pretty much a staple in every closet, but I like the chunky heel and pointed-toe in these pair.

Sometimes the easiest fashion choices truly are the simplest.
