The other day we celebrated Adam’s fourth birthday, which is so hard for me to even say out loud, but much harder to actually type out the words. Four years have gone by in a flash like everyone says it does, and it has been the hardest, most frustrating, and at the same time most rewarding and happy experience of my life. I’m so grateful to have in my son a constant reminder of what is really important in life, and as an added bonus, a constant source of belly laughter and unconditional love.
For his birthday we hosted a small get together with our family, and I decided to wear my new cropped peasant grid blouse from Tobi, and I also tried a new braid style from Blow Bar – in South Barrington. I recently discovered Tobi because I will be collaborating with them on a Spring style post similar to yesterday’s. I had the hardest time choosing which pieces I wanted to style because the shop has so many cute and unique styles. They are extremely on trend and reasonably priced – the quality is really very good and I’m definitely going back to Tobi to shop. Right now if you sign up your email you can get 50% off of your first order – and they have an extra 30% off of sale items going on right now too so check them out for sure. ( Note: I bought this blouse in a size Small and I am 5’7″ and a size 2 typically.)
I’m always leaving my hair down or in a ponytail so I thought it would be nice to change it up, and I loved how it stayed perfectly put the entire day. I did wind up with a headache later but that happens whenever I put my hair up because it is just so heavy. The things we girls do for beauty right?
