#DressupForNepal

The recent earthquake that devastated Nepal left now over 7,000 people dead and many more wounded and without any infrastructure or basic necessities to live. Many of us feel helpless in situations like this, like we can’t possibly do anything to make a difference, but deep down we all do want to help out somehow. I’m excited to share with you today a project that a dear blogger friend of mine, Neha Gandhi, of Love Playing Dressup started.

Neha thought of selling an item from her closet, and giving the proceeds to a charity supporting Nepal. Then she thought of how many friends she had with closets that were bursting at the seams and thought if everyone sold something and donated the earnings to relief efforts, we could be doing something great!

The website where all of the items being sold will be centrally located is: http://bit.ly/dressupfornepal. You will sell the product on your own in any way you would like, and you will be responsible for donating the money as well. Just use the #DressupForNepal hashtag to spread the word!

If you’re interested in participating and selling a product, please sign up on this google doc.
