Neutral Tones

Mother’s day weekend was a success thanks to Adam’s grandparents volunteering to take him for the night so we could have a night off. I hadn’t seen a movie in the theaters since before Adam was born (he’s now four!) because T isn’t really into that, but since it was Mother’s Day he agreed so we saw a mutually agreeable movie, Fast and The Furious 7. The movie was awesome in the ‘so bad it is good’ kind of way, as long as you don’t think too much about it and just enjoy it for what it is.

I opted to dress up even though T wore cargo shorts and sneaks, it was my day after all, so I went for this adorable shorts romper and a long lightweight trench, and my newest addition to my bag collection, the Drew by Chloe.  I am always drawn to wearing white and lighter tones together for a monochromatic look. The blush pink bag is the perfect size to wear as a cross-body in front, and I love the chain strap and hook closure, which makes it perfect for a casual or formal occasion.

At first I thought these sandals were the perfect nude for my skin tone, but I realized after wearing them they are definitely more of a dark olive/tan vs. a nude, but I really love the color so I decided to keep them. They do the same leg lengthening as a nude sandal would, and the color is equally versatile.

Have a great week and thanks for stopping by as always xxChloe-drew-topshop-romperchloe-drew-topshop-d-ring-romper-stuart-weitzman-nudist Stuart-weitzman-nudist-truffle-chloe-drew Chloe-drewTopshop-romper-chloe-drew-2Romper: Topshop | Bag: Chloe | Heels: Stuart Weitzman  (color-truffle) – Similar Style | Trench: H&M | Ring: Trina Turk via Rocksbox – use code Lovezahraxoxo for a free trial month! | Watch: Michele
