My favorite outfits are always the simplest to put together. A t-shirt, jeans, and great accessories  are pretty much always going to work for any casual occasion. But as the saying goes, the devil is in the details, and what makes this simple outfit stand out is the lace and linen t-shirt, the fringe handbag, and this truly one-of-a-kind wooden watch by Jord Watches.

This is what I wore to dinner last night with Adam while Tom had a business meeting. The mommy son dinner idea was better in theory though, I soon realized, as I spent the entire time scolding, and then resorting to pleading and attempting bribes just to get him to settle down and eat. I’ve never been good at discipline, and he knows it, so he takes full advantage when dad’s away. When dad is there, he rarely pulls any of this kind of behavior. Anyone else deal with this double standard?

P.S. My henna from Eid is still looking pretty good but I can already see it beginning to fade. I absolutely *love* henna but when it starts fading away it is not pretty!
