This past weekend we celebrated Tom’s birthday – getting together with Adam’s grandparents and cousins and spending the day together playing board games, watching football, and chasing after the kids. Tom and I are both September babies, but I’m a Virgo and he’s a Libra, which is a good thing because traditionally Virgo’s are a little introverted and inflexible, obsessing and overanalyzing everything in life, whereas Libras are easygoing and diplomatic and also great listeners, which makes them incredibly charming to Virgos- in my case complimenting my overanalyzing (which is often aloud). I love Astrology, even though I don’t live by it necessarily, I do believe there is something undeniable about it – plus there’s nothing like the stars validating your relationships, am I right?
This week’s Blogger Nation feature is Pleione Clothing, available at Nordstrom and Nordstrom Rack Stores. The Pleione motto is pretty much what I’d hope to think of myself as – ‘never fussy, always chic’. Their selection is classic over trendy, but always with a slight twist or detail that keeps it modern each season. I’m also eyeing this piece and this piece from their current collection.
