This past Monday was a gloomy one, and we decided to cheer up by grabbing brunch at our favorite spot, then going for a walk in the park after. It is on days like these that I feel the most gratitude for everything that I have. Its easy to get swept away with the things that don’t matter in life, so I try to always take a step back and appreciate. Getting out of disciplinarian mom mode and just playing and laughing makes all of the stress and hard work that motherhood requires totally worth it. The best is when we are outdoors, even if it is cold, because we get to enjoy nature and breathe in all of the lovely fresh air.
I’ve been living in this long cardigan since I bought it, and I’m rocking my new instasculpt jeans by DL1961 – which, by the way, are legit. They hug in where you want to hug in, and give you curves where you want them. I’m also really into the moto style detailing – it gives the jeans a cool edge that my inner rockstar alter ego really loves.
P.S. Why does my son look like Drake from the Hotline Bling video??? 🙂
