Sometimes when the sun’s out I like to pretend it isn’t winter, and ditch my winter coat in exchange for a canvas jacket. Of course I have to add a just-in-case layer, like this cozy waffle sweater tied around my waist. I wore this over the weekend for a casual day with family.
At the moment I’m making all of my final arrangements for NYFW, and there is so much planning involved it is incredible. Every season I debate whether I should go or not, and this one was no exception. The shows, of course, are all available to view online almost immediately (if not immediately), and running across New York City in the bitter cold isn’t my ideal situation, so I often think I could be more productive reviewing the shows from the comfort of my own home (in my pajamas). But there’s something else that I get from actually being in the city and seeing the runway shows up close and also checking out the amazing street style – and that is a whole lot of inspiration. Plus I get an excuse to dress up as much as I really want to every day!
