This week I’ve got travel on my mind, as we are planning a trip for the long weekend ahead. When we take short road trips, I always like to wear a maxi dress because it is really comfortable and still makes me look and feel a little more put together than wearing equally comfy sweats or yoga pants. All maxi dresses are not created equal, some fabrics wrinkle the minute you sit in them, and the one I’m wearing in this post is really great. I like to add a scarf because it can add a little warmth and even serve as a pillow if I want to take a nap along the way. My favorite is a lightweight scarf in a really soft material, in the same color family as the rest of the outfit. If you read this blog regularly, you know that monochromatic schemes are always my go-to. Now that I’m an adult I don’t toss my stuff in random shopping bags or book bags anymore, instead I love to carry a chic weekender bag like this one from Sole Society – that is just big enough to carry a few outfits, swimsuits, makeup, and toiletries. To finish it off a hat is always a good idea, especially when you don’t have time to fuss with your hair.
Adam decided not only to be in the shoot today, but he even took charge and took some of the photos! Will be sharing his photos on snapchat @lovezahra.com. Have a great week! xx
