Travel Style – Pittsburgh

Traveling in style can be a challenge, but over the years I’ve learned it is actually really easy to be totally comfortable and still look pulled together. My go-to outfit is to wear a pair of moto leggings or a soft skinny pant, layered with separates to adjust for any changes in temperature. I don’t know about you but airplanes are always way too cold for me! Flat or low-heeled shoes are a must, and I brought the three pair that I have been living in and also plan to wear on repeat this Fall: plain white sneakers, ankle booties, and a pair of platform loafers.

We traveled to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to attend my cousins wedding, but we always like to extend any trip a couple of days so we can do a little city exploring while we are there. Some highlights of our trip: the view of the city from Mt. Washington, touring the WWII Submarine at the Carnegie Science Center, a casual but fantastic seafood lunch at Wholey’s Fish Market in the Strip, and last, super random but still a highlight, running into Mark Cuban at our hotel gym. It was a fun trip overall, but I am so looking forward to getting back home.
