Military Jacket and Leather Joggers

Yesterday Tom was home sick so I got to take advantage and do a few things I’ve been meaning to do. One – get a pedicure – something I’ve been wanting to do since Sophia was born but somehow never got the time, and Two – have a mother-son date with Adam. I’ve been so wrapped up with the new baby I missed my Adam time, and I know he feels it too. He was the only one for six whole years – commanding all of our attention 24/7, and now splitting that time with a new little baby must be tough for him. We went to go see Beauty and The Beast, which wasn’t a hit with him – but I absolutely loved it. Some of the scenes were a little too scary for him, and the songs didn’t capture his attention as much as the reclining buttons on the theater chairs…so we ended up leaving before the movie ended. He did love the ice cream shop visit after, so all was good and I would say the date was a success.

I took the opportunity dress up in a comfy chic outfit and get sick Tom to come outside and snap a few pics :). Since I finally got that pedi I decided to break out these velvet heels I’ve had for months but never really felt like wearing while I was pregnant. Joggers have been great during my transitioning period getting back to my pre pregnancy weight. I love that these are faux leather so they look a little more dressed up than sweats. I also love a great military jacket – and this one is especially fun with the flared sleeves (also styled here) – but I’ve linked to some of my other favorite military jackets below.

Thanks for visiting as always, have a great weekend!
