First off, if you are like me and pat yourself on the back any time you get a really good deal shopping – then listen up – Shopbop is having a huge sale, which officially starts tomorrow *but* they are allowing me to share the news with my followers so you all get to shop the sale a day early! Just use code EVENT17 at checkout to get your discount. (Get 20% off of all orders under $500, and 25% off of all orders above $500!). Also – they are an Amazon company so you get free 2-day shipping with your Prime membership! I’ve got my eye on the premium Champion pieces, and also the Re/Done brand which they just started carrying. (I recently picked up the Levi’s Wedgie straight jean and I highly recommend.)
On to the look – if there were one piece of clothing to perfectly describe me, it would have to be a sequin embellished kimono jacket. I’m very much a boho flower child at heart, (blame it on my Nor Cal upbringing), but at the same time I love to be full on glam every now and then, (blame that on my Pakistani heritage ;)). So…a drapey kimono with metallic sequins in a pretty floral print, pretty much sums me up. Of course to balance all of that bling, I’m wearing my Spring favorite style – espadrilles. I wouldn’t call it a trend because it comes back season after season, but if you do want to be trendy, the platform espadrille is the way to go. I prefer ones with a pointed toe for that leg lengthening effect.
Now that festival season is upon us, even though I probably won’t be making it out to Coachella, Burning Man, or even Lollapalooza this year – I can at least dress the part – and also coordinate with my doll Sophia while I’m at it! Scroll down to see my little Rose make her first official appearance on the blog. Besides giving me major side eye, she was a good sport and of course she looks adorable in her Zadig & Voltaire sweater which was a gift <3
Thanks so much for visiting as always xx
