Ruffles and Destroyed Denim

Here we are again with another look with ruffles! I’ve been drawn to them lately, particularly the high neck, ruffle yoke type. I think ruffles on sleeves are lovely (see the last blog post) but not the most practical because they wrinkle easily under coats, and you have to be super careful at dinner lest they take a dip into your spaghetti. Now, ruffles in any other location are perfect to just add a little retro vibe to your otherwise basic winter knit. See below for a few of my picks for knits with ruffles.

I also recently picked up these jeans, which I already own in a different wash. This dark charcoal wash is everything right now, and this one’s a high waist, rigid denim, straight leg, all for under $100. Also, these white pumps were such a random purchase made very long ago, but I’ve worn them more times than I could possibly count and I always get compliments- which leads me to ponder- is white the new black?? I’ve linked to a couple of my picks at different price points for you all – just scroll down.

I wore this over the weekend both days, (because I didn’t get a picture the first time- haha). I squeeze in an outfit picture on the way to the grocery store, the gym, play date – anywhere I can because the days when I could spend hours taking outfit pictures are long gone. Actually I started this blog after Adam was born so I never really had much time to begin with, but it is just even less now with two kids and, might I add, zero nannies. But I’ve learned, kids or not -everyone is busy, and you just have to make time to do the things you want to do, that is a fact.

Thanks so much for stopping by! If no one has told you yet today, I appreciate you, you are beautiful, and…nice butt 😉

xx Zahra
