I bought this Max Studio dress from Marshalls- I told you I’m obsessed with this brand now. I dressed it down with a sweater vest, boots, and a messenger bag. Why should lace always be fancy?

I also wore it to work under a skirt, with a cardi on top – so you could still see the lace on the front and sleeves. Of course you could always dress this up with some great heels and a statement neckace.

This week has seriously gone by so quickly – I am still not done with the guest room because I have a few pictures to hang up, and sadly, I need some help doing that. Hey, I never claimed to be a DIY-er! I will do it as soon as humanly possible, that I can promise you.

I’m also so excited for this Friday because I am going to Big Jam – and it has been forever since I’ve seen a live concert. I think before that I saw The Police reunion tour in 2008 – which was awesome – there is something amazing about a live show and the energy of the crowd. I can’t wait!

Finally, I’m getting all excited and stuff for Thanksgiving, even though we aren’t hosting this year – we are bringing potatoes and I’m thinking of bringing a surprise second side – herb-roasted root vegetables – a recipe from one of my favorite Food Network chefs, Giada De Laurentiis. What are you cooking for Thanksgiving?
